Default SeaRay Pachanga

Anybody have any experience with the SeaRay Pachanga? I believe that they built a 19, 22, 27, and 32 ft. Correct me if I am wrong. I think they were built from the late 80's into the very early 90's...is this correct? Why did they discontinue?

I sell SeaRay's but only the Sport Cruisers, however, I have a customer that was looking for a 32ft. with twin big blocks. From my little experience with the Pachanga, I think they were very heavy and slow with no lift.

Thanks for any info.

Talk to G-Force on this board. He currently owns 2 of them, and I'm sure he'd part with one. I've ridden on his briefly, seemed o.k. to me.....a bit top heavy maybe.....but not a bad ride.

I had a 27 with twin 270 hp, it was a nice boat but I did have my
fare share of problems. Bottom was replaced 3 times. I also had 3 friends with them 1 with a 22 that had no problems but 2 with
32 that were a mess.

We have a 22 Pachanga as our second boat. It has a 350 Mag and man, what an incredible little boat it is! They are very well thought out and put together nicely. Ours runs 64 mph ON GPS!!! no BS!!! Rock steady ride and a windshield that actually works. I`m extremely impressed with the 22.

Kurt.

Thumbs up

Yep - I own 2 Pachanga's - both 32'. My buddy liked mine so much he went out and bought a single engine 27'.

The 32' isn't a speed demon by any means - 60mph on the stock 330hp/454 with the right props.
They are heavy, solid boats - I boat on small waterways most of the time so never really get to pound big waves except for when I took mine down to LOTO - it handled the weekend waves down there just fine.
Except for the fact that my beloved white one SANK this summer (hole in bellows) I never had one problem with the boat and would recomend them to anyone.
I'm 6'4 and have slept up in the forward V-berth quite comfortably and the cabin is pretty nice.

Does your customer want to get a really, really good deal on a green, 1987 Pachanga? I seem to have a spare boat at the moment and I need to dig up some cash to repair the slightly soggy white Pachanga I have.

What are the specs. on your green one? Engines, maintainence, condition, etc....

Are you running the same setup in both?

Thanks for all the info.

I thought the Pachanga was a Latin dance.........Jeffrey, Kenny and I tried over and over to learn it.
