I've seen previous threads on block numbers and would like to know if someone could decipher these numbers for me. Both are on the back of the block. GM block.

give me the # right above the timing cover or the mounting point above the circ. water pump, should be a # stamped in one of these two spots

According to the Mortec Website the block is a 1996 and up 502, Gen Vl with a 4.466" bore, 4 bolt main.
