Finally!! The G.F. has a car!!!
After much trial and tribulation (which I shared with you all last week) she finally has a car. Told the guy with the Corsica to go to hell and give her the money back. I worked on that damn car for over an hour tonight at his house and couldn't make it right. Done deal, had to argue for the cash though. What a putz (I want to say something harsher but it would end up being nothing but ********* LOL!!).
Found an 89 Dodge Caravan LE with about 238,000 miles on it. $400 later and she is driving it home. Thank God!!!! Runs o.k. Tranny slips just a bit under hard acceleration, but it stops good, and will get her by for a few weeks.

400 is a good price, but be aware that if that van has the v-6 in it, it may start smoking pretty soon...if not already...the valve guides go in those motors head work is the only fix...believe me, I tried everything 
Good luck with it!
BTW, the v-6 does accelerate hard...I was a bit surprised!
