Smile Question for Too Old

I keep stairing at my new toy all covered in blue shrink wrap; its waiting to go to into the shop in a few weeks for its check up. Was just curious how your project was going. I used to love seeing the updates on the Sonic, whats going on with the Cig?

Unhappy Tell me about it!

Once all of the holiday stuff comes to an end I am packing up all my extra parts and headed to the LOTO to CPR to have them cut the shrink wrap off.. It will be like Christmas all over again!

Fred,

I see you opted for the Gaffrigs as opposed to the Auto Meters... any particular reason? Just curious...

Customer service wins again. It's so simple, and so surprising so many companiies just don't get it.

yup, I've dealt with Gaffrig too and agree that they are certainly great to deal with. they told me I could have any color combinations that I wanted also...definitely great customer service! I will be gettng my speedo from them when I'm ready...

I guess I just wanted something different...I've never talked to the folks at AM and don't plan to. I know they're a big company and probably won't deal direct with the little guy...oh well.

I decided to move my hour meters to the side of the console and go with the 10,000 rpm tachs...not the best scenario, but I'll be happy with it, I think...

Good luck with yours and you'll have to post some before and after pics...

Birddog...that's strange. I talked to Gaffrig many times and the customer service concept is alive an well there. The helped me with a throttle issue and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Gaffrig by Livorsi...right?

I talked to Ed Manion and he was very helpful. He actually had me go out to my boat and he stayed on the phone and walked me through the throttle install process while I was doing it!!! If there is better customer service than that in this boating industry, I haven't seen it. I'm a Gaffrig customer for life now because of their attitude.

Just call the shop and ask for Mike Livorsi or Ed Manion, I've dealt with both and they are great.

And if that doesn't work, ask to talk to Mike Livorsi...he actually talks to customers also!
