Default OT, turning long links into abbrev. links?????

Could someone explain in very simple terms (me PC idiot) how to turn this> http://community.webshots.com/album/28021355zWnIOKPEFt < into something like this >Fountain pics < and in a color?

Trying to make an ad into a buyer friendly ad.

Thanks a bunch!

It's easy.....use the "http://" button just above the message text box. It will then ask you for text, enter it, then it will prompt you for the link.

Cool! Thanks.

Don't suppose there is a way to do the same thing on boattrader online though? Doesn't seem to be an option.

Hey US1, it was cool to meet you yesterday. To bad we couldn't talk a little more.

I think on Traderonline there is a place for you to post your webpage. At least I think I remember seeing the links. Simply link to your pic pages.

Nice pics by the way. Have you found a bigger boat?

Thanks.
Leaning towards the 32' Fountains. But more we think about it, the more we consider others. Need to quit thinking, I think.
Also wish I could have talked with you and others I ran across. But to be honest, I'm no good at 1st conversations. So watch out next time!
Yeah, I included the link to my photo page in my ad. But I have had a few interested lookers that have had trouble getting it to work. Thinking it would be easiest if they could just click vs highlight>copy>paste>hopeitworks.
