I don't really know, I haven't been up yet. I did have some friends that rode from Kalkaska to Waters and said that it was getting pretty thin. And I'm sure you know that is still about 28 miles west of the cabin so I'm sure there is only 3-6 inches there.

My boss was up in canada a few weeks ago, it was about a 8 hr trip from here. He said they had about 4 1/2ft - 5 ft of snow. Unbeliveable he said.. Not seeing another sled all day long.
I put about 60 miles on my uncles sled a few weeks ago up north, didn't even have any snow
up and down the frozen lake. headed back up tommorrow morning..

Guys was on M- 66 south of Kalkaska...the trails running south of town about 6-7 miles looked good but that was sunday afternoon ...so who knows now?? Travis can you give me some ideas on a site to check snow conditions?? thanks

don't you cry about no trailer either. i have a three place and I have MANY TIMES packed up in detroit at 4:00am. drove to the west side like you are going to do, to hook up with the buddies to head north!!!!
