Question 2-Piece Valve Covers

I'm in the process of replacing the valve springs on my HP500 carbs as well as checking the top ends just to be sure. After removing the stock exhaust manifolds, etc. just to get the valve covers off I started thinking about some valve covers I saw somewhere that don't require removal of the exhaust manifolds first. I think they were two piece.

Anyone know who makes them and have any experience with them? Good, bad, no difference?

Thanks, Jeff

The Eickerts look really nice , but I purchased mine from CP performance, I believe they used to be made by B&M they are real tall and clear my Jesel rockers arms.

EWB - If my memory serves me (and it rarely does), Todd has the Profile cat, right? Did he ever get comfortable with its handling? Did he change the motor at all? I'll let you know about trying the Eickerts - Thanks for the offer!

RPMRam - Got your message and sent a reply. I'll let you know.

I guess I'm having a hard time justifying $500 - $800 for valve covers since with the hours I run I doubt I'll be pulling them for the next couple years.

Thanks all!

Jeff
