Default Need a wiring Diagram for '71' Chevy Nova

A friend of mine is restoring a 1971 nova. During this he has found a wiring nightmare and has planned on redoing the entire harness. He was going to go with factory replacement but decided to custom make it and hide all of the wiring but it is in such a mess that he needs the diagram. Any help would be great.

Go to local library ..they usually have chiltons manuals and alike that show it all. I had a 1970 Olds I needed a wiring diagram for, went to library and found a chiltons manual that had the complete diagram. Good Luck

try to find an assembly manual. I can't remember the name of the company off hand that sells Nova parts but they should have one. My mother bought a 60 Corvette new and still has it today, and at a car show me and my dad saw one of these for vette. It is the actual manual used at factory. Shows every detail on the car.

I wire cars for hot rod builders and race cars I would recommend that you use american autowire. They may have a kit that is specifically designed for your application. Good luck Forrest

I'm with Forrest. I did a bunch of research on a wiring harness for my 56 Chevy and am ordering from American Autowire.

Try Lectric Limited in Justice Illinois. They manufacture replacement harnesses for all the old Chevy's
I don't have their number.
