I just got my bill today. Nothing makes you hate your boat more than getting your insurance bill on the coldest month of the year.

Boat Insurance
We tried nmu.com. They told me they won't insure anything that goes over 70mph. Doesn't that suck! Waiting to hear back from Total Dollar.

We currently have State Farm. Any other suggestions?

In addition, NMU will only insure boats with original factory power.

How did you get State Farm to insure you? I have seen others post that they have these great rates through State Farm, Allstate, Nationwide, etc. on their fast performance boats. WTF? I have good friends, boating friends, who write for those companies yet they can not insure my PQ340. They all claim the underwriters forbid it due to HP and speed. So Total Dollar gets my business.

I just don't get it!

Me too !
I'm with you Macklin .

I have three cars , three houses and an umbrella policy through State Farm. No tickets , no accidents , no claims EVER and they won't write my boat.

Go figure...
