Aren't they specifically made by Edelbrock just for Mercury? At least thats what I heard.

That is what it said in the magazine add,but I dont no if edelbrock would make A new casting just for merc.

I believe it was based on a standard design that edlebrock had and they modified it so the closed cooling log bolts up to the front of the motor on each head. I dont believe the mods had anything to do with performance. I think I remember seeing this when it first came out, Not sure though. I will be in miami I will ask but I bet they will not be able to tell me.
