Oh...... the times are a changing!!!!! now if they make an transom plate to adapt from a TRS to their unit..... we already have the tranny.......intresting.........

I too saw this in this months
Popular Science Magazine.

Looks like the prop selection is
more user friendly.

The steering system looks
a little "cheezy", maybe not
up to task for hi perf. setups.

Help me understand. This is a direct drive?? SO how could it be used in a v hull?? Do you mount the motor at an angle and have a UV joint? Can you mount a motor low enough to hook up to it?

I like the idea, just not sure how it hooks up?

Interesting concept. You will need a down angle, offset tranny which has full power reverse capabilities and gear reduction though.
It looked to be different from the arneson or pulse in that it doesn't use a single shaft. The prop shaft looks to be angled upward, parallel to the bottom of the boat. I would think that this feature would allow better trim control and a shorter drive.
