Default 502 MPI- I am crazy!

You've seen my post regarding Bad Gas...

So I got back on the trailer and the Port motor wouldn't start.
I fought with this thing all last week and missed a beautiful weekend.
Changed fuel filters. No luck.
New plugs in both motors. No luck
Tried to run motors off 5 gallon can. Starboard OK. Port Nothing.
Got very pissed off. Didn't help.
Then I called Jo and Pepe at Pantera. Being the nice guys that they are... They had me drop it off at their shop.

Pepe called me this morning. He said"hear that?" I could hear the boat running in the background. He said both motors lit right off. OK great. But why wouldn't the port motor run last week?

I did put another $25 in the tank on the way to Pepe's shop so he could really run the boat.. But that didn't change the fuel in the lines and in the EFI....
Did the 1 hour ride on the trailer shake the problem loose?

I think I'll chack myself into a looney bin.

I hate those gremlins!!! Hopefully it was something simple and stupid. I think a big sigh of relief is in order.

oh yea, just a thought. I had problems starting one of my motors and it turned out to be a stuck float in the carb. Everytime I turned the key it just dumped fuel and motor would not start. This was not consistant either. Sometimes it would fire right up, other times it would flood. I thought I was flooding the motor but it was the carb.

Check and make sure you have good grounds everywhere....its amazing what EFI and stupid electrical problems will make happen!!!
My dad bought a new Caddy....had the 300hp Northstar engine in it...he said it had good power but was running like it was being held back.....i drove it and sure enough it was feeling sorta bogged down.....took it to the dealer.....4hrs of tracking stuff down turns out to have a loose ground wire on the back of the dash that grounds the computer!!!......now it runs like a raped ape!!!
