I know they raised the X-dimension on the 2003 model but I heard the 8" pad would not be added until 2004. Is this true?

I think I just read a PB article on it that already had the pad. Can anyone else confirm?

I spoke with a gentleman from the Baja display at the Cleveland boat show that supposedly owns the yellow outlaw in this months issue of PB. He said they are still working on the bottom, but it is definitely an improvement over the old one's. I took it from that that it won't be ready for "production" until '04. Just my .02.

I read the Powerboat article also and that's why I was confused, but I agree with Aqua-holic... I don't think it will be available until 2004.

Wouldn't they have to triple the price as well?

The price does seemed to have increased. Just as every thing else has. I'm not sure about the pad. PowerBoat mag says that it is 8 inches wide and 11 feet long. I always like the way Baja rode. I guess I will just have to give one alittle test drive. In the mag article they seemed to give pretty good reviews
