Default House vs Boat, what cost more??

I thought i was the only one who spent $140k on my boat and $125k on my house...What do you pay more for?? I am still traveling and found out today that a young(26) year old guy that works for us has a 1998 35' Fountain, and live in a nice Double-wide....Has a super nice wife to boot too

What did you all pay more for?? I think I know the responses I will get....

Talking all screwed up.............

I am totally whacked out of my mind - I live in a 100 grand condo -1 bedroom and the Top Gun is 350 grand. Not counting a 84 Mastercraft - 87 Barefoot Nautique - 2001 28 Joker - and a few Sea Doos - get your priorities straight - BH

House, buck and a quarter
2 APACHE's
1 SeaRay
1 Bassboat
About five times the value of the house.

Heck, just the dock+rip-rap+ etaining wall cost more than the boat. Don't even want to think about the house, new kitchen, ....

$250K+ for boat, dually to pull boat, camp on Port Bay (Lake Ontario) to keep the boat on the water.
$55K for Double wide with barn for working on boats and a garage I built to store the boat inside!

Shane, $1.6M for the house on the lake, you need to spend at least $3.2M on a boat! If you want help shopping, I'll be happy to help!!!!

I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks this way. Well I dont own a home yet, I live w/my parents and they are not even here 6 mos. out of the year. Put it this way I aint saving for a house, but for a bigger boat
I spend more time on the boat in the summer than I do at home, and In the winter my folks are gone and are happy just to have someone watch their house
What would you do???
