Just a HUGE reminder to all boats that are Shrink Wrapped and are in the path of this winter storm, break out the brooms and push the snow off.....
Many forget to do this and with all the weight of the snow could cause some damage to the wrap as well as the boat.
That also goes for anyone the has the CoverIt portable garages. I have one of those as well, but in this case so far, the wind has been keeping up with blowing it all off. So far I see about 3 feet in my back yard, mostly due to the wind.

Anytime Tripps!
Good point Donzi!!! If your boat gets hit with a roof from a snow storm such as this, will insurance cover it???
Or would they claim a NATURAL DISASTER and not cut a check?
Hey!!! Where's my lowers???

I build a big pup tent on top of my boat using 2 inch pvc tubing. I make it tall enough so that the peak is high enough so that the snow just slides off the sides.
I have SS rails all the way around my bow and a SS railing around my wind shield and rails by my engine cover so they make a good place to anchor the posts. I knotch the bottom of the poles to fit around the rail with a router and then drill a 3/8 hole above that to run a big nylon tie through and around the rail to hold it down.

Couldnt get to my portable garage, when I did, it had collapsed on the 1967 Magnum I'm restoring. Some damage, but will have to wait for the white **** to stop, then shovel it out for a closer look. Winter SUCKS!!!!
