OT:: Refinery Exposion in Staten Island

..anyone heard anything about it????...one of my co-workers just told me....

On CNN now. Says propane tanker( I believe truck) exploded. Now they say maybe a barge. As usual too early, just guesses. Coast Guard is everywhere around it.

Gas futures went up dollar a barrel after explosion, so CNN said at bottom of screen.

Just yesterday, I was hearing of a refinery worker that was kidnapped, interrogated and beat up by his captors. They were looking for more information on the refineries. The article had said that the FBI was alerting other refineries to the incident. Wonder if there is a connection?

just spoke to VinMan..he works about 2 miles from the accident...says his building rocked & the guys working outside were knocked on there cans!!

appears to be dying down now...
