Default 40' Navy boat - restored!

Folks here have occassionally posted up picks/ads of those Navy Kevlar hulls that come up for sale every once in a while...all the hulls I've seen are total POS's...
Looks like someone actually took the time to re-do one:

Hope that link works...

Yeah I've seen that boat before.

I've always wondered if it woud be worth reworking one of those hulls?

IMHO they did this one wrong. First I think you have to paint it. Second you have to rework the cockpit. As is it just looks like a very expensive work boat.

I see some one finally bought it.

I'll bet those diesels don't push it as fast as the originals did.
All it's good for is playing around. If it had enough power it would make a unique poker run boat.
As for the cockpit, I agree it's pretty spartan but those seats/bolsters are one of the most expensive makes out there.
Hope the new owners have fun.

I'm begining to think that there is some funny business going on here. That boat has been for sale too many times.

How much is something like that worth? With like 3's and 600's.

Just curious.

I've pulled one. They are HEAVY! Very solid!

So some one posted a phony bid. That's low.
Wonder what his reserve bid is.

Here's a pic of one underway.
