Default Building a Drop in Bolster

Well I got out to the boat yesterday made some templates and took some measurements. anyone have pictures of your seats before ulpostery (spelling)? I'd love to see how the sides are put together mine are about 3" wide without the padding another 1" so I think to keep from making the thing weigh a ton I'll put two pieces of plywood together with a pine or poplar spacer between to make up the 3". Once I get the framing assembled I'll coat it with resin to keep it from rotting then bring it away to get upolstered....any input would be great!!!!
