Default Are these worth anything??

I recently replaced the starter and water circulating pump on my '98 454 Mag MPI. The starter was intermittent and the water pump had a very slight leak from the weephole.

Are these cores worth anything or should I just throw them away? I would think someone might give me a few bucks for them and rebuild them. Any suggestions?

Take the starter to a rebuilder and for $20-$40 have a new starter ready to go. Throw the pump out.

Don't trash a marine starter. They cost the same as an auto core to rebuild, but cost four times as much to buy.

Starters, alternators, distributors, fuel pumps, carbs are all Marine-specific. Actually, the water pump is too, but it's not a big deal).

I'd give you $20 for the starter core in a heartbeat, but freight would be more than the starter.
