Default factory-1 budget for a complete season

just watched a factory-1 race.its very similar to races here in europe. i just wonder what is the app. budget needed to complete a season including boat,engine,spared,trips etc
i dont need an exact number,smtng app.

it's roughly 5 grande a race plus breakdowns and any other bull****.

Boat usually runs 100-150 K for F-1 New

That's nuts you can buy any Activator or Warlock , the two best boats for under 100.

Man, I think it's just sad that you guys have to spend any money at all! I would much rather watch offshore boat racing than the "redneck roundy round" nascar races.

Hopefully some day the sport will catch on a little more and sponsers will be fighting over boats.

Also, an Activator, Warlock, Kryptonite, Superboat, Pantera and I am sure a few more can be purchased race-ready for under $100k.

I believe that the Merc 525 just put them over the $100K mark. And yes, you can lease a GM Vortec and get in new around $70K the first year. You can also purchase just about any used F1 boat for $50k.
