Anybody know anything about Sea Strike Boats in Miami? Just wondering. A friend of mine is looking to purchase one - BH

They had one at the Miami Show- very good looking boat with very straight sides. It is a Mantex cored boat:= no wood construction. I didn't pay too much attention to it because it lacks the beam (8'4") that I think these boats need. More beam = easier to get around in the cockpit and past the console, as well as more storage space.
I'm also not sure if this is a self-draining cockpit boat, which IMHO is a must in this type of boat.
The Monza gets my vote for all the ones I looked at there. Some definite offshore heritage (cigarette hull) and Richie Powers overseeing the construction. The Marlago (Jefferson Yachts) was also very nice.
