Thumbs up

Looks good,
One word of advice:
If you raft up alot, keep an
eye on who's crossing over,
mine lasted less than 1
day before one of my slightly
intoxicated buddies thought
he could step on the scoop,
CRACK,POP, REPAINT

Where do you get them, and what size is it? How much more can you hear the motor? How did you attatch, bolt through? I've looked at Summit and Jeg's but don't know what size to get.

jt29 - I'll keep that in mind. This thing is solid as a rock tho. The wife hates it !!! I was not and still am not the most favorite of her right now. She say's that I did not tell her I was going to put a quote:"Blower Thing" on the hatch. She also said that "Hot Air" will come out of it. I know she's mad but I can't help but laugh at her......Wardey

Pure Energy - I had the hatch built with the scoop. It's all fiberglass. I'll post more pic's of the underside later. As far as engine noise, I couldn't tell you right now, I havn't started her up yet......Wardey

Wardey,
My wife and her friends hate mine too !!
their "dance floor" is in the upolstery shop
getting reskinned, but I'm in no hurry
to put it back on

Pure Energy,
I used Harwood 3163 p/n
bonded them on, if I had to
do it again, I would use the
4163, that is the bolt on.

As far as noise, I really didn't
notice any increase.

I have pictures posted in the
Baja section, thread name: picture test,
that show what mine look like.

I bought fiberglass scoops from a nice guy in Sebring , Fl. I then had them laminated into new hatches that I designed for my Cigarette. The scoops were only $100 apiece. I will try and find the source name if anyone is interested. Bob.
