Default 32 Fever or not?

Seriously considering 32 fever........the one thing that scares me is the possibility of sinking, we do a lot of overnighting SO........who has a 32 that sank or not?

Thanks!

Owned a 32 Fever for 2 seasons. Loved the boat. I think the business about sinking is was an isolated incident. I had a 32 with 500 H.P.'s. The problems I think where with the 32 when the started putting 496's in them the additional weight caused them to sit lower than they already do. Yes the bilge blower vents will get some water in them in very rough water if you are anchored or not on plane, more likely to have problem with you bilge blowers going bad because of getting moisture in them than the boat sinking. Any water was handled by the bilge pumps, not even close to a problem. The boat was quick and fun, their are several more owners that have 32 on the board, they will add their thoughts as well

Default 32 Fountain

Owned a 1999 32 Fountain for 4 years and just loved it!!!!!!!!!
Don''t even think about it sinking.... Thats all hogwash.... The only way that boat will sink is if you leave the plug out and BOTH of you bildge pumps fail.... Highly unlikely..... I have a 35 Fountain now but just loved my 32........

Kingpin,
We have a couple of 32's running around on the Potomac River. The closest to your power were two with 500 HPs. They were running around 82 or 83. I would think a 32 with twin 502s would run a shade under 80. Take a good look at that engine box. I'm told those inside spark plugs are mean to change.

Nonetheless, an awesome boat.

I have a 99 with 502's and the boat GPS's at 78+ all summer. Hey, and you're in luck...it's for sale. Pics are posted at fountainusa.com. (it's the 99 with top "z" graphics)
