My trailer has seen better days! It's a Trail Rite steel trailer, a 97 like my Outlaw. I boat in the ocean regularly and the trailer is rusting out. The bunks are wearing and the material is ripping, not to mention someone hit me in the port side fender in havasu and decided not to tell me about it

Anyway, I was going to have this guy sand blast, seal it and spray it candy purple to match the boat for 850.00. A Good deal but I would have to prep it, take the bunks off and fix them myself, buy a fender, re-do the lights and find a place to put the boat for the week to week and a half it would take to do. However I saw the trail rite reps at the L.A. boat show and after calling them, they quoted me between 1200-1500 to sand blast the trailer, seal it, paint it candy purple to match the boat, replace the bunks, the lights, the fender and store my boat while it's down there. The only negative is that it's going to take 3 weeks to do. So, when the tax returns come, the trailer gets done!

Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone else that wanted to redo their trailers. I never thought of actually calling the manufacturer that built the trailer

That's a good deal.I repainted a trailer a few years back and it was a major pain in the ass!

It does include the bearing/seals.....Not the brakes though, But I have a guy that'll do it cheap.
