Has anyone put dry CMI tube top headers on a 496 Mag 375 HP? There is a set in the classifieds section and I was wondering how difficult it is to put them on. Do you need any special install kits? I was on cp performance.com and they say to buy a installation kit with the 496 application.

Would you use wet or dry exhaust for this motor? What is the difference in wet and dry exhaust?

Other than looks cmi's will do nothing for your set up. Dry pipes are definitely much louder and will attract the gendarme like crazy.The 496 come with a decent exhaust already and you already own them.

Dry= very loud, very loud = very cool, Buy them We'll figure it out

I'm right there with Liquid but make sure it doesn't affect the warranty. Captains call is for sissys.
