Default Prop ?????

Nice calm day on the lake yesterday so I thought I may see what top end is on new motor. Playing with the trim I maxed out at just under 50 on speedo (forgot to bring gps) and 4800 rpm with 15x17 aluminum prop. Should I be happy there since I rarely run fast anyway or could I change prop pitch for more top end?

Change to a stainless prop for better top end. And if you hit some sand it probably wont even hurt the prop but with the aluminum one you will be replacing it.

What engine did you go with? Is it a 22 Classic?

It's a 1990 GT210. Very similar to the Regazza from the late 80s. Very heavy boat. Went with a 350. Pretty close to stock as I am more interested in reliability.

Question 15x17 propeller

go with stainless as it is thinner but five times the strength of a ordinary aliuminum propeller, stich with the orginal equipment for stainlees such as a sst prop and you could have a touch of cupping added for extra performance/any other questions you may have just e-mail us and we will be glad to help out/have a great week /Darin
