Awhile ago I asked about how to open up my thru-transom exhaust openings from 3" to 4", a person named boatfixr said to put a 3" holesaw inside a 4" holesaw to act as a pilot, I did this and it worked great so anyone looking for a easy way to open up some holes try this method, I had 4 holes done in a half hour!....Thanks for the info boatfixr....Fred

When you put the smaller holesaw inside of the larger one it's best to space it out so it sticks out ahead of the larger one to pilot it, I used thick washers and two 5/16 bolts and went thru the holesaws existing holes to attach the two together, try it you will like it!..Fred

This is just one of those "why didnt i think of that" deals!!!
When i enlarged my exhaust i used a 3" cutout taped inside the hole as a guide.....this would have worked 1000x's better!
