Default OT: We just got started!!!

We just had our contract accepted for 10 acres of land in Haymarket, VA! Neda and I are quite excited. Unfortunatly, we had to go about 10% over the listing price to get it. We are going to get started on the log home ASAP. We are looking at building a 3000+/- square foot home, with a full basement. The property has a nice hill leading up to Bull Run Mountain that we are going to build into. As soon as we figure out the drain field and home site, I will be specing in the boat & toy barn. I am shooting for 50x80, and we will see what happens.

Brown is approximately where the house is going.
Blue is approximately where the toy box is going.

Forgot to add their is a stream across the back acre too. The red easement you see is access to the property behind us.

Good luck on the new home project. If you are going to build it your self you better get your mind right before you start, that is a tough project to take on. Start in September that way you still have this summer, your next 2 are gone if it takes you as long as it did me!!
