Default Hatches

I'm getting ready to paint the boat and I want to change the old hatches out, they are cracked and faded. Does anyone have a line on them, I'd like to get 2 that look good but I don't want to pay too much I sound like a progressive customer.
Thanks in advance.

Default Hatches

I have two deck hatches. They have Alum. divider bars. They are off a 1987 Scarab. They are in great shape. $300 for the pair. I will be in Toledo, OH this weekend if you want to see them. Call my cell if interested. 214 632 0798.

BF: Thanks I'll let you know.
BajaDaze: figures, the site is down I'll check it later.
JJ:I may use your balsa idea for engine hatches also.
Thanks for the replies.
Martin.

You're right...It was working before. Figures.

Anyway, on a side note, I was thinking about what Jesse was saying about engine hatches. Find youself some 1.50" thick Honeycomb panels. They are expensive new, but like Jesse mentioned, there's got to be some scrap laying around in aviation junkyards. They are incredibly strong and very lightweight. Wrap them in padding and upholstery and you have a very light hatch.

That may work, I still have to do some measurements cause I now have the two hatches that part in the middle but they wont clear the blower that I'm putting on so after I put the scoop on I may make it a single hatch that opens in the front.
