Got the 29 fired up for the second time this season. She came to life with out a glitch. Temp was about 85 all day with a nice breeze, and for once I had the day off. Took the whole family. The wife got about 5 shades darker, the kids watched a couple dvd's, and I participated in my usual consumption of barley pops. To my surprise we didn't have any babies fall in, it didn't rain, the wife didn't b!tch and the boat actually stayed relatively clean. It may just have been a Baja moment. The kids wanted to go swimming but after they found out that the water temp was 41 degrees they decided they betteer hold out until they saw at least 53. Sunday I took the boat out for a "water test". The air temp when we unloaded was 42 degrees. My son and I were wearing winter jackets. Two day's later...85 and sunny. Weather forcast for tomarrow: Freezing rain and chance of snow. Well just wanted to share a moment.
P.S. Today I was one of three boats on Seneca Lake(38 miles long). One of my buddies just got a sweet a$$ 35 lightning w/ 525 sc's. He blew by me at about 85. I thought my 02' was pretty sweet.......until I saw his new toy. I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!
