Default bravo 1 gear set change ?

was told by some one that the gear set on the bravo 1's from year 2000 and up was changed and is better than pre 2000? any one know the differences if true?

yes,they changed a couple of bearings in the upper gear set for increased strenght.......but teague offers a better set of bearings for your old gear set that also increases the strenght .....

the newer gears also have much thicker floors in them,and along with the bigger bearings they make for a much stronger drive.merc sells a kit to update the older drives.
