I'd like to post a picture here. I try to download it but I get a message back saying it is not a valid type.
How do I convert a picture from "bitmap image" form to jpeg or something so I can post it???

Open the picture up in PAINT, and click FILE>SAVE AS. Change the TYPE (below the file name) to JPG.

Or, I downloaded Irfanview, which is a free, very good "photoshop-like" program. You open the file, and save as .jpg. Here is the site.....

Ok, I tried that but it wont let me change the "type" other than 4 selections (various types of bitmaps) in the drop down.
Is it just my computer? I don't know a whole lot about this stuff.
I can e-mail it, i just cant post it.
