Need a Motorola timeport flip phone that works with 2001 Mercedes S-500. Lost mine and nothing else works with the Mecedes hands free stereo system. help?

Jeff.. the timeport flip is that the star-tac looking phone or the V60 looking one? Both where availible that year I believe. I dont have one in my shop right now, but I can call around a few others to see if anyone has one. I just need to figure out what kind you need.

Oh.. $1500 is about right for the phones through Mercedes.

Chris K, it is the silver Time Port fliptop Startac design. I have only Mercedes part #'s. There is one just like with MB logo on E-bay at $999. no way

OK I will call around to my other shops in the area to see if I can dig one up... We gert them once and awhile from people. No promises, but I will check.

the phone is a intergraded system through mercedes benz and motorola, it has different software in the phone than a regular star tac, time port are a v60, if you install a regular phone it turns on-off-on-off.all of the above phone's work on the digital data bus, called the D2B ring, it is a fiber optic system, I am the shop foreman/tech for Mercedes benz of Beaumont, I could most likely get you just a handset for your car for a good price, if you do not need the whole install kit, let me know,
