Default Picked up the 342 tonite!!!

I picked up my new baby tonite, get her home, was checking out all the systems and the cockpit speakers dont freakin work. I adjusted the fade and that didnt help at all. It is a Clarion system with dual amps. Guess I'll be checking the controls on the amps tomorrow and if I cant find the problem, its back to the dealer before it even gets wet. Frustrating as hell.

Congrats Force. 342 is a hell of a nice boat. After I grow out of the 29, I can definatly see my self behind the wheel of a 342. I like the windsheild. I really think it adds a nice touch on a performance boat. I had a 01' H2X that i still miss a bit. If I'm not mistaken the 342 looks just like the H2X but stretched out a bit.
Don't get beat up over the radio. It's not worth loosing water time over. If you called Clarion they would probably send you a new unit. They seem to be a great company as far as customer service is concernd (I had a similiar prob) . Have Fun!

Default Congrats!

Had a friend pick up his 342 three weeks ago. He loves it, especially the 500 efi's. Now he is in the process of building a 50' long pole barn to house it in!

CTF,

Thanks for the advise, I only had the breaker on for the stereo and none of the others at the time. I will try it in the morning with all the breakers on.

I traded in my 1988 Baja Force 320 for 120k difference.

If it's like my 342 it has a seperate switch on the panel below for the amps.

Say, what power and props are you running. I'd like to compare stats.
