Question Kieth Eickart Question

I have done a search of this forum and found this to be a sensitive subject, I was unable to find the answer I am looking for because of deleted threads. So let me preface these two questions with this - Please stick to the subject at hand I am not interested in KE's dirty laundry. (Previous threads were deleted by OSO because of this)

I have two friends that have purchased new 2003 boats with KE's motors

Here are my questions-

Is Mr. Eickart still in business?
Will the motors be covered under KE warranty?

Thanks for the help

Yep, I'm sure he will be back it is just a matter of getting all the legal BS taken care of and getting everything in order...

I dont think that you will have anything to worry about when contemplating the purchase of a boat equipped with KE motors. The litigation has nothing to do with whether to provide services but ownership and control issues. I feel safe in saying that niether side of this dispute wants customer service to suffer, only differing philosophies in corporate management.

(legalese for dont sweat it!!!)

Keith Eickert manufactured some very high quality products. I hope he will stay in businesss or sell the rights to another manufacture. Everyone who I know who dealt with Keith had nothing but good things to say about him personally and his products.
