Default What paint to use...K-Planes?

I need to repaint a plane assembly, any suggestions on paint and primer? I am thinking epoxy primer and paint??

probley powder coat or emron would be best but i did my drives in normal single stage automotive enamel, lost a min amount of paint in poorly sanded areas, im gonna do it again on my k-planes but sand blast first, should stick good then,

Not sure on paint, just be sure to keep those away from forklifts

check to see if it is rated below the water line, most are not, epoxy paint is some great stuff it will hold up great

Personelly, I prefer the IMRON way vs powder coating. Here in the salt water enviroment corrosion is inevitable. IMRON is alot easier and less expensive to refinish long term. 7 years ago I did my cig & still looks good. Holds out much better than the stock merc paint.
