Lets here some of your stories.
I have 2
Joey and Pepe Nunez(Pantera) Finishing their black F1 boat on Friday
they ran it for the first time friday evening. Hooked it up and drove to Daytona and arrived about midnight Friday night.
Raced on Saturday (2nd place) Hooked her back up and drove to Miami. Raced on Sunday and won.
#2 This is more of a mechanical miracle
When I raced Jersey skiffs, We sheered our rudder off on Sat 2nd heat. We got on the phone and located one about 2 1/2 hours away
drove up picked it up tore out the seats gas tank stuffing box etc.
about 4 am finished raced on Sunday and picked up 200 rpms(smaller rudder) The real hard part was finding the part

ScottB,............. I'l give you two stories: The Jersey Boyz pull into Marathon on Friday 5/16/03 with 16 mozzarells, 1...10lb Genova Salami, 1 whole Prosciutto and 20 loaves of Hoboken,NJ Italian bread. Saturday 5/17/03 we leave Marathon and head up to Ft.Myers, this time we only have "MAYBE" 8 mozzarells???????, 5 lbs. of Genova Salami?????????? 1/2 a Prosciutto?????????and 10 loaves of Hoboken,NJ Italian bread??????????. NOW THAT'S A STORY with a Happy ending. We'll bring enough for most to have a taste. See you all there. Regards Augie.
