I think a 305 is all you can fit. (That's what I was told) If it's a 4x4 I was told that you need to change the spare because if you have a flat and put a smaller tire on it will not roll due to the lock up rear end?????
Better check with a dealer. Let us know what you find out .

i haev 33" tires on my 1500 pickup and they rub the body when you make hard turns. Everytime i park it or make a uturn it make a nasty sound. SO if teh one you want are 35" i'd say they are gonna be to big without a lift

Ran-Dom,
I had a 95 2dr Tahoe with 305-70x16 on 16X8 Eagle Alloys. So close there is no reason they didn't hit
, but they didn't
Sold it for a 98 4 dr and swapped tires...same thing with that.
My eagle alloys had 5" back spacing ( a must , to keep fronts from hitting the fender or bumper when turning). Stock wheels are only 7" wde...a little skinny for 315's even 305's. Both recommend minimum of 8". Besides I don't think you'll get the 315's under it with a lift or at least a little hammer around the edges of the wheel wells
Good luck Dude

BFG's 285's fit with no problem. 98 yukon 4x4 4 door and 2003 tahoe 4x4 4dr raised the torsion bars 6 turns then fine tune for level (side to side). don't forget to have the front end aligned!! Any torsion bar adj will require a front end alignment

I had a 99 Z71 2 door tahoe. I had 285 Kelly mud terrains and it really killed the mileage. Of course, I have a lead foot!!! It had a K&N filter and dual flow master mufflers installed, you could really tell the difference in the power. It was a sweet ride!
