Does anybody know if the whipple system for carburated bigblocks will fit under the hatch of my baja 272?
Even the stock engine seems to have very little clearance between airfilter and hatch...now I am wondering if I could still close the hatch and use the sunpad with the whipple installed...(otherwise I would have a faster boat but without any girls on it...too much of a drawback.....)
I was offered a brandnew whipple system at a very reasonable price and I would go for it if it fits my application....but the pics on whipples internet site look as if there is a lot of additional height with the blower on top......
Anybody out there with a carbed and whippled 272 and an intact sunpad???

not enough room ,call dustin see if he has any old style side mount s,,you would have to change to fuel injection ,,but its the only way it will fit stock hatch

A wieand 177 with a dominator carb will fit under the hatch but the rear seat and side panels will have to be moved foward,the engine hatch can be extended or left as is,i own a 90 250ES and have also helped a few others do this,this combination with a 27 3 blade mirage will be pushing upper 70 to low 80's
