Well I need to REPLACE my intake gaskets on my problem child....Any recomedations on intake gaskets or even installation? If I remember some people (including me!) were having problems with some types/brands of intake gaskets for the sbc vortec heads....
Thanks.

Take that part number and plug it in here: www.gmpartsdirect.com

You can get it for $16.65 instead of the 21.91 that place charges! I get all my GM parts from these guys

Well I bought the GM 12529094 gaskets. Yeah they only reccomend only 11 ft/lbs! Also they say "DO NOT use ANY type of gasket sealer on the intake gaskets. The O-rings are designed to seal without chemical sealers." Makes me a little nervous about not putting anything around the water passages....Thoughts anyone
