Well , I've been waiting for about two weeks for a decent day. Cloudy today with severe thunderstorms for this afternoon. Lets go now.

Made a wide u turn near the Ben Frankin Bridge and as I was banked , noticed a fluctuation in the left oil pressure that stopped when I returned to a level position
. Sooooooo , stop to investigate
. Open the hatch to this...

Popped an oil line coming out of the cooler under the distributor returning to the block
. Shut it down and made the 4 or 5 mile trip back on one engine. Thank God for twins
Was smart enough to open breaker for bilge pump too.
This is a hellava way to change oil...

OK , its 7:15 and just got done with the Simple Green and power washer and things are looking a whole lot better. I can also get my hand on the lower end of the oil line where it goes into the block. Maybe I can do this with out removing the exhaust
I hope

Yeah , I think I'm safe. The pressure never dropped below 40 lbs from about 64lbs. As soon as I straightened out and the boat was level again it came up. I figured I may be low on oil. But I must have put at least two gallons all over the engine compartment. Here's the culprit , at least it wasn't a condom
The PINHOLE is between my finger nail and the crimp.
