Now I have the RIGHT to be grumpy - turned 50 today
No big deal. When I turned 27, it seemed so close to 30, that I went through all the "getting old" trauma way back then.
As my journey through life marches on, I wonder if I will ever become as old as Too Old, as cynical as Sy Goldberg, as bald as Nort, as cantankerous as Catmando, or as obsolete as T2x. (In order to become obsolete, you have to have been useful at some point.) Ah - I'll worry about all that in another 50 years.
I do get cool stuff (and birthday cake) today, though - including a birthday card from Mom. <sniff>
Damn. Life is GOOD.
