Looks like the aftermath from a Tornado. That white vehicle is a Dodge Ram pickup and it would be pretty hard to tear it in half unless it was thrown.

If you look at how the passenger side door of the pickup is punched in...I think the mini van T-bone it. The Dodges sit pretty high and the pointed nose of the van could have gone under the frame. That van shure must of been booking though!

Sorry, I don't know anything about the accident. I came across the pics while I was surfing a Dodge site. Unfortinatly, they hadn't posted any info on the accident.
