do they come apart or out...it sounds like crap, plus it has silent choice

If a boat has silent choice or captains call switchable exhaust it seems pointless to have muffuled tips. We use a die grinder cutter and remove all the baffles,easier and cheaper than replacing the tips with straight thru ones

Go to the Baja forum and check some of Dock Holiday's old posts. He removed the silencer tips on his 36 Outlaw.

can i just drill out the rivets?

I had the same tips on my HO's. I switched to non-muffled Corsa tips. They sound much better. I also have Captains Call so I can go silent through the no wake zones which is nice. They are easy to remove....and sell.

I have tried to remove the guts of those. It was too much trouble. Magicfloat obviously has more experience at doing so; but I just bought 4 new tips.

The sound is now awsome!!!

Ya, the sound going through-hull is kind of lame. Anyone have more info on removing whatever is necessary(pictures perhaps)???
