News for all my friends on OSO...I have landed the near perfect job with my favorite hobby! I now work at Virginia Boating Centers in Northern Virginia!
Unfortunately, they (we) don't sell much of the OSO preferred merchandise except for maybe
Crownline. I manage the finance dept., so if any of you all need to refi or purchase extended Mercruiser warranties (for your one year old or less boat equipped with Merc engines) I might be able to help!!
Wish me luck in my new job!! Now I should be able to spend more time on the water with my family and friends!!
See you on the Potomac!!!!!

Brian, now that I have a job with much better hours, I might have an opportunity to get to the Potomac River Poker Run (after 3 years of trying because of my old work schedule)!! Is there still slots available?!?
Thanks
Steve

Heck, I dunno. I am not doing the one from Tim's Rivershore (formerly run by Kevin Burell). I would call them direct in Dumfries, VA, to get the scoop. If I do a Potomac River run, it will probably be the Chesapeake Bay PBA run the weekend after Labor Day.

I'm actually discussing a similar dream job right now. Will keep you posted.

I tried my hand at selling boats in the Chantilly, VA Boat Show a few months back. I was pretty lucky and 'popped my cherry' as I was told by co-horts by selling my first one. I know finance is a bit different, but at least I know I have a career that I can pursue someday if I decide.
