Thought you Hustler fans should know.

Look at page 74 of July 2003 powerboat magazine.
Notice the March 1985 cover issue its a Hustler
32 le. It ran 103mph with 526 big blocks
pushing 630 hp the boat weighed 7500 lbs.
Arneson surface drives.
Here is a picture of the stern of the 1985 Hustler

That is one bad xss MACHINE!!! I wonder what size the props are "cleavers" whatsize and pitch any ideas? Darin

The props pictured are 17x30 rollas.
The powerboat magazine test in 1985 refers to 17 1/2
x 28 rollas. although the prop shaft center to center distance is
only 18 inches. Not much room for a lazy trim cylinder.

Nice ride. Although 32's were never produced in big numbers, it's surprising how many from mid-80's that surface that are set up with the surface drives.
