Question "HOW TO" adjust EFI IAC & TPS -Interested???

Since I was trying to find out how to adjust the IAC & TPS last week on the oso board and really got very little response, so.....

Is anyone interested in a little tutorial on how to adjust the EFI IAC & TPS ????? If not I will forget about it, it took me four hours & removing the throttle body about forty times before I figured it out.... the adjustments only take about 30 minutes to make .... I will do it in a seperate thread.

Are you interested????

As you are facing your engine, look under the throttle body and you will see an allen head bolt with some type of thread lock (red) on it. This is where you adjust your idle air count. I use a scan tool to take readings on the adjustment. Take care when you try to turn the screw. I broke one and had to replace it. Not hard to find, but a loss of time. I would try to chip the piece of thread lock off a little the next time. I don't know what mercruiser recommends for a setting. I have an AZ Speed & Marine flame arrestor and ecu re-program and they told me to set mine to 35 with the engine warm and in gear. I was having a problem with the engine reving when I shifted and not comming down fast enough. This took care of the problem. I am not sure, but I think you can also reset the tps with the scan tool.
