Default Savannah Shows Support APBA Offshore Fire on the Water Event Fourth of July

St. Petersburg, FL - APBA Offshore has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Fire on the Water event this Fourth of July weekend in Savannah, Georgia. It looks like that hard work will pay off in the form of the best holiday race event and festival in memory.

With perhaps as many as 90 teams competing, Speed Runs on the Savannah River Friday, to be followed by a spectacular fireworks show later that evening and the best offshore racing in the world just off the shores of Tybee Island on Saturday and Sunday, the entire community is revved and ready to go!

Here are two letters we recently received from the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Savannah expressing their gratitude and long term commitment to APBA Offshore, our event, racers, sponsors, and fans. Both letters make it perfectly clear where we all stand in that community and just what loyal, dedicated, and class act support we have there. You should feel really proud about that.

We have many great activities planned for everyone and we are certain you will be impressed with the huge crowds, nightlife and outstanding accommodations.

Always remember, when the green flag drops the BS stops. See ya soon and let's go racing!!!

Michael

Thanks for the post.
That is great to see
I love the part about ALL entities being paid within 30 days of the event.
These are a few more reasons they have such great turnout and racer support

Thumbs up

What more could APBA and the racers ask for. With the support from both the City of Savannah, and the Chamber of Commerce, this APBA event is now a "new" 4th of July Tradition! A win for fans, racers, the City of Savannah, and APBA-Offshore! Keep up the Great work!

Great support, just like we had here in Cincinnati and New Richmond. It is a lot more fun as a racer to come to an event knowing the town loves you being there!

We will be there and still have a boat for lease if anyone wants to experience the thrill and adrenaline rush of APBA Offshore racing first hand.

Hey Chris, do they have a mechanical bull in Savannah? Wanna Ride? If this race is half as fun as New Richmond it will be worth the trip!! That event was first class!! The way you controlled the dust with a little rain was brilliant! Seriously you and your crew did an awesome job. I dont think you will have a problem leasing that last boat, after telling all my buddies about my experience they all want in.
