Default Beam....on a 37 to 42 ft boat

I remembering seeing a V-hull with a certain beam I was looking at. So I though it faster and easier to ask all to post the beams on their boats between 37 ft and 42 ft
Thanks

8' 6" is the widest you can tow on an open road without a permit.

Donzi is 9' 3" the extra width is a huge addition for comfort. While technically you need a permit to tow over 8' 6" I have never had someone measure my boat if they stop me. Just my $.02

Our Black Thunder is 9' 6". Love the extra room. Agree with mjpcowboy, don't think we are going to get stopped just so they can measure. Again, our 2 cents.

mjpcowboy...I think that was the boat. I will check in to it. Thanks
The one I remember reading about had a 8' 9" beam

43Thunder, yes I know they are beamy.
I trailer my 9 ft wide cat all the time and have only been asked about the beam.............no doubt I say 8' 6".
The one and only time there was a ticket was the day we went for a trail run in Florida before buying. The Sheriff's and CG where at the ramp. They wrote him (the driver of the tow vehicle, for the Boat Sales place) 6 citations. Over size, no permit, no license, no plates and registration and etc. And then they let us take the boat out.
