U3 Master Tire with Mitch Evans driving with a Allison won the seasons 1st Unlimited Hydroplane race

Steve David did not qualify for the final..


First piston win since '89

Here's the sweet power plant.

The average speed for the 5 lap final was 140.5 over the 2+ mile closed river course. The Bud lost it's prop before the start of the final and was a DNS.

damn awsoem to hear about the piston win!!!!!!! Those allisons are trick!

as for steve david. I'm sure he'll get in the groove. Aren't they/he in an entirely new boat this season.

puder, yes he is in a new boat. I hope it's just a little adjustment in the setup. I know he is expecting to be a lot more competitive this season.


Miss Bud lost a prop? I know it's a drop in the bucket for them, but that has to cost as much as a engine for me.

I read one time that a prop for a hydro was around $20,000.
